APPLICATION OF GEOMMETRIC PROGRAMMING IN THE DESIGN AND OPTIMIZATION OF INTEGRATED OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIERS.

 

MOTIVATION

 

A deeper vision in the engineering problems shows that beyond a solution, it is necessary the good solution to the problem. In the area of the analog CI's, to automate the process of design in a such way that leaving of certain specifications, being these electric or geometric, to arrive to the best design offers the designer the possibility to work at level of systems through functional blocks and to forget the problem of transistors sizing.

 

REACHES

 

Through the exhibition of the basic concepts used in the solution to the problem of the analog design via geometric programming, to be able to design different types of basic integrated circuits.

To serve as theoretical support in the area of convex optimization for their later application in different engineering problems.

 

OBJECTIVES

 

To implement and to show the geometric programing as design methodology and optimization of operational amplifiers in telescopic, folded cascode and complementary pair.

To provide to the university a tool (software) of design and optimization of operational amplifiers.
